Camera Skills - Film Noir

When shooting a film or clip you must take into concept how they are filmed. Film Noir's are often filmed in as least amount of shots as possible, normally with a tracking shot for the whole scene.

You MUST white balance your camera before filming.

this can be done by:

Function
going down to the second option
Accross to the far right option
Aim camera at a white background
Press and hold in analog stick

the camera should now be white balanced.
(this must be done every time you change location or edit the brightness within the room)

you would also need to film in black and white, this can be done on the CANON HD by following the steps:

Function
Going down to the fourth option
Across to the right three times to E1 which is Black and White
Press function to close menu

you must then:

Press the analog stick in
Press up

Black and White filming will now be activated
(you can use this same method to turn on any effects)
